As an Odoo Developer, you will be at the forefront of our technological advancements. Your role will involve not just coding, but also understanding business processes and envisioning how Odoo can transform our operations. Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom modules to meet business requirements.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and services (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs).
- Odoo database operations, including backups, migrations, and performance tuning.
- Configure Odoo applications and customize them as per client needs.
- Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues in existing modules.
- Maintain clear documentation for custom developments, configurations, and integrations.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and provide technical support.
- Provide training and support to users on Odoo functionalities and best practices.
Must Have
- Proficiency in Odoo's architecture and framework (ORM, models, views, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Python, as it is the primary language for Odoo development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL for database management and query optimization.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for client-side scripting and XML for Odoo views and reports.
- Familiarity with the Model-View-Controller architecture as applied in Odoo.
- Experience with RESTful APIs for integrating external applications with Odoo.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and technical challenges.
Nice to have
- Participation in Odoo community events or contributions to the open-source Odoo community.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) for custom Odoo web applications.
- Understanding of various business processes (ERP, CRM, manufacturing) to align Odoo solutions with business needs.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for Odoo deployment and management.
